So Glad 2 Be Me
Thank you for stopping by to visit my site. So Glad 2 Be Me provides innovative workshops focused on the development of girls’ self-efficacy. Through crafts, games, and discussions the girls have fun while learning to identify and value their inner beauty. Positive Youth programs like So Glad 2 Be Me motivate youth to realize their uniqueness and their full potential.
About the program
So Glad 2 Be Me programs are all about helping girls discover what makes them unique; based on who they are, not what they look like!
So Glad 2 Be Me was founded in 2003 in the small town of Arnprior, outside of Ottawa. The program continued to be run throughout Ottawa and the Ottawa Valley until 2013. It was in the fall of 2014 that So Glad 2 Be Me moved to Durham Region and more girls would have the opportunity to benefit from the program.
